Mike Hopkins Biography

Mike Hopkins, the CEO and founder of the company, has been involved in commercial retail real estate in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area since 1970. During this time, he has been involved with and developed over 200 shopping centers across the Metroplex. These projects range from small retail buildings to 350,000 square foot shopping centers. Mr. Hopkins began his career as a retail broker at Henry S. Miller Company. From 1973 until 1983 he started and headed Henry S. Miller Development. In 1983, Mr. Hopkins formed his own development company, the Hopkins-Shafer Company. He was President of Hopkins-Shafer until beginning Hopkins Commercial in 1991.
