Hopkins Commercial Real Estate, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Michael J. Hopkins. Hopkins Commercial is a retail development company that develops, manages and leases properties for affiliated partnerships. Hopkins Commercial also offers third party leasing and tenant representation.

Mike Hopkins, the president and founder of the company, has been involved in commercial retail real estate in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area since 1970. During this time, he has been involved with and developed over 200 shopping centers across the Metroplex. These projects range from small, buildings, to 350,000 square foot shopping centers. Mr. Hopkins began his career as a retail broker at Henry S. Miller Company. From 1973 until 1983 he started and headed Henry S. Miller Development. In 1983, Mr. Hopkins formed his own development company, the Hopkins-Shafer Company. He was President of Hopkins-Shafer until beginning Hopkins Commercial in 1991.

Currently, Hopkins Commercial has developments across the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area. Hopkins Commercial has the expertise and capacity to perform all facets of retail development and execute deals in a swift manner. Leasing, property management, construction and finance are all supervised internally.
